The Clorox Company hired me to build a new Learning and Development Program for their Finance and Accounting function. I partnered with executives on the vision, mission, and strategy, then collaborated with VPs, Directors, and SMEs on the design, structure, and content of the program. In the first two years, I build the program's core: The Clorox School of Finance, which earned national accreditation as a CPE provider.

In order to successfully roll out and support this program, I built Train-the-Trainer, technical systems, and new hire orientation programs. I also designed several annual events, such as Finance Back to School and the Finance Career Fair. (Please see the Engagement section of my portfolio for more information on these events.) Altogether, these programs were the key to raising global Finance employee engagement scores from the lowest to the highest in the company, at 92% "Highly Engaged."

Based on the success of these program, the CFO asked me to take over and upgrade the college recruiting program and build a manager training program. Both of these exceeded expectations, increasing our job offer acceptance rate to 70% and our manager to Director and VP promotion rate to 80%.

Why did Clorox hire me to build these training programs? They recruited me from Bank of the West, where I had just pioneered the company's first eLearning program and co-designed and facilitated a very successful manager training program.
